Paul Farahvar
President and CEO

President and Founder Paul Farahvar is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois, practicing law, since 1999. He began his musical endeavors by "discovering" bands before they were commercially recognized. With an ear for commercial sound and marketability, he tried to form bands throughout college and law school at the University of Illinois. After years of flailing bands, he co-founded Shoeshine Boy, a pop rock band with a focus on vocal flair and substance. Shoeshine Boy made some minor waves in Illinois as one of the hottest upcoming acts in Chicago and Champaign, sharing the stage with acts like the Why Store, Freddy Jones Band, Tim Reynolds, Willy Porter, and Blue Mountain.

He gave up playing music in 2012 to focus on the law and also artist development, management, and production, playing lead guitar form time to time for Karma Tease (a local band with members of Liquid Soul, Air This Side of Caution & lead singer Jocelyn Baker). He also performed bass and guitar with various artists he represented including Monica Da Silva, Brett Ratner, Micah Walk, Chris Buehrle, and Jeffrey David. He is a partner at the law firm of Cuisinier, Farahvar & Benson, Ltd and sits on the board of advisors for the Chicago Music Commission. In October, 2012 he was named as one of the "40 under 40" Lawyers in Illinois.
