Primarily an artist oriented organization, SBP focuses on developing and promoting the talents of an artist or band. Understanding that hundreds of thousands of bands exist (most of which are “unsigned”), SBP maintains a practical approach for the artist by helping them learn about the music industry so they may build a thriving career. Within its promotions and booking department, SBP works with both the artists and venues to create mutually successful events. Experienced with all levels of the music industry, SBP has the knowledge, insight, and contacts that will enable an artist to make music a career rather than a hobby. CEO and President of SBP, Paul A. Farahvar, is a licensed attorney in the State of Illinois and can also serve as a contract negotiator for an artist or band in need of representation or contract review.

Shoeshine Boy Productions has been working with music artists and venues for over ten years. With a roster of over forty bands under the "loose" Shoeshine Boy Productions umbrella and access to about 100 other bands and artists, Shoeshine Boy Productions can provide a successful evening for any venue or corporate setting without the hassles.

As a former band member, Paul Farahvar has access to numerous talents. SBP has worked closely with various venues and organizations in the past, creating successful and memorable events.

Shoeshine Boy Productions provides any and all services to bands. SBP has access to numerous venues and promoters in Chicago. SBP also acts as a concert promoter and pseudo-booking agent for many bars and venues in the city.

CEO and President of Shoeshine Boy Productions, Paul Farahvar, also provides legal services for bands and artists whether it is drafting a simple contract with a venue, registering music with the copyright office, or negotiating a contract deal with a major label. Rates will vary.

Moreover, we have the finest singer/songwriters as well as music producers who can create works for whatever project you need music placed. Whether it's one song or an entire film, we can get it done quickly. We can handle synchs and licenses from our artists, who have been featured in motion pictures, television shows in syndication, and commercial jingles.
